Platforms
Supported Platforms Disclaimer
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will make error corrections as errors
are reported. (See item 2 for schedule information.)
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will schedule error corrections based
on severity of the problem and discuss release dates with affected
parties.
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will provide regular updates on supported
platforms (this will include bug fixes and enhancements).
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will provide NRE cost and schedule
quotes for Supported Platform enhancement requests.
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will provide a six (6) month notice
prior to moving a Supported Platform product to a Limited Support
Platform (LSP) product or a Non-Supported /Obsolete Platform.
Notification will be made via this web page and by mail to all
customers on the maintenance program for the platform moving to
limited support or non-support/obsolete platform. We may drop
support for a specific operating system or version with less than
a six-month notice if the operating system supplier is no longer
providing support.
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will continue to improve our products
with new features, software enhancements and software corrections.
With continued development, it is possible changes in our products
will preclude older versions of the operating system or hardware
platform. While we encourage our customers to upgrade to fully
supported system platforms, we will continue to provide support
on the older platforms, as a Limited Support Platform, for as
long as there is a maintenance contract in place.

Limited Support Platforms Disclaimer
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will make error corrections as errors
are reported. Errors which have known work-arounds may not be
eligible for correction.
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will not perform regular updates
to these platforms.
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will only sell run-time licenses for
Limited Support Platforms.
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will not sell new development
licenses for Limited Support Platforms.
- Asyst Technologies, Inc. will provide a six (6) month notice
prior to moving a Limited Support Platform to a Non-Supported
or Obsolete Platform. Notification will be made via this web page
and by mail to all customers on the maintenance program for the
platform moving to non-support.

Obsolete Support Platforms
Non-Support/Obsolete Platforms Disclaimer
All platforms other than those identified above as Supported Platforms
or Limited Support Platforms are Non-Supported or Obsolete Platforms.
Asyst Technologies, Inc. will provide NRE cost for any requested
work related to Non-Supported or Obsolete Platforms, as long as
the requested work is determined to be technically feasible
by Asyst Engineering. Work related to Non-Supported or Obsolete platforms
includes, but is not limited to, queries, error confirmation, estimates
for corrections, error corrections, and enhancements requests.
