Semiconductor and Computer Systems Conference September 10, 2001

Fremont, CA, September 7, 2001 - Asyst Technologies, Inc.

announced that it will be presenting on September 10, 2001, at
the Lehman Brothers Semiconductor and Computer Systems Conference in
San Francisco, California. The presentation will begin at 11:00
a.m. PDT, and will be made available over the Internet via a live
webcast.
