Announces Availability of Webcast for Presentation at
J.P. Morgan Investor Conference

FREMONT,
Calif.—May 5, 2003 — – Asyst Technologies,
Inc. (Nasdaq: ASYT), a leading provider of integrated automation
solutions that maximize semiconductor manufacturing productivity,
today announced the availability of a webcast of the company’s
presentation at J.P. Morgan’s 31st Annual Tech & Telecom
Conference, to be held at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco,
CA on May 7, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. PDT.
The webcast
will be available to all interested parties through Asyst’s
