FasTrack™ System

Fab Upgrades
Asyst's patented FasTrack Continuous Flow Transport (CFT) is designed to increase fab productivity. It is a fab-flexible, continuous material handling solution for high-volume 300mm fab production. Its capacity, speed, and throughput exceed competitive systems, and support the fastest Front-Opening-Unified-Pod (FOUP) delivery times of any Automated Material Handling System (AMHS).

Maximum Productivity & Profitability

  • Asyst's FasTrack System provides the capacity and speed to support high-volume 300mm fab production.

  • FOUPS can be stored close to the load port, supporting a transfer from storage to load port in less than 35 seconds.

  • FasTrack provides a fully integrated interbay/intrabay transport solution, reducing cycle time and eliminating bottlenecks at stocker I/O and AMHS interface points.

  • CFT architecture provides greater than 300 moves/hour intrabay, greater than 1500 moves/hour interbay.

  • Zero Footprint Storage (ZFS) saves floor space and increases overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

  • SEMI standards compliance for safety and interoperability.

  • Low ceiling profile and loading supports 200mm to 300mm facility upgrades.

  • FasTrack delivers the highest throughput with the lowest delivery variability.

  • Comprehensive operator and product safeguards.

Proof Point

Asyst was selected to provide 300mm AMHS for a new UMCi Fab in Singapore, in July 2003. This is the first 300mm implementation of FasTrack CFT Technology.

“We selected Asyst because Asyst-Shinko offers a novel, high-performance 300mm AMHS solution and FasTrack offers the flexibility to unify intrabay with interbay transport systems, which allows equipment-to- equipment delivery capability. We defined this type of automation as a necessary feature to implement into the industry’s second generation of 300mm fabs such as UMCi."
